Ingredients:
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 TBSP olive or vegetable oil
1 (29-oz) can tomato puree
1 (28-oz) can crushed tomatoes
2 TBSP brown sugar
1 TBSP Italian seasoning
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, saute garlic in oil until tender.
2. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
3. Bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until sauce reaches desired thickness.
